Fellowships

We provide annual fellowships to several doctoral students at USC working in the Machine Learning research area, enabling them to advance research frontiers. Fellowship recipients will be named as Amazon ML Fellows in recognition of their promise and achievements.

RESEARCH

Director & Liaison

The Center is directed by Salman Avestimehr, who is a Dean’s Professor at the ECE Department of USC. The Center’s Liaison for Amazon is Daniel Marcu, who is a Vice President of Ambient Intelligence Services at Amazon Alexa.
